Safety and efficiency of ship operation are dependent on the professional competence and dedication to duty of the seafarers on board. Merchant Navy is the backbone of international trade, carrying cargo across the globe. Without merchant navy, much of the import-export business would grind to a halt. Therefore trained personnel of various nationalities are required for various departments of the ship and this widens the scope for employment in this field.

SESM, affiliated to the Directorate General of shipping, ministry of shipping, Govt. of India, has been undertaking merchant navy training since 1998 in the form of pre-sea and post-sea training. We provide training in compliance with IMO rules as published under the directives of D.G Shipping, Govt. of India as standard specified of STCW-2010
